Kuala Lumpur the modern capital
In Kuala Lumpur, the capital, we can found different cultures, old shopping districts but also skyscrapers like the iconic Petronas Twin Towers 451 meters high. Malaysia is a multi-religious country with 31,62 Million inhabitants but the major ethnicity is the Muslim one: 61%, Buddhist 20%, Christian 9%, Hindu 6%, Confucianism, Taoism, other traditional Chinese religions 1.3%. In the East of Malaysia there is 20% of Malaysian people who lives there and 80% live in Peninsular Malaysia (west side): they are called “Malay”.

About the economy of the country a large minority of Chinese hold it with 26%, the more marginalized are the ethnic Indian but concerning the politic side the Malay are dominant and it’s constitutional monarchy Abdullah Shah.
Malaysia is a general slowdown in global economic activity.
The country is classified as a middle-income country producing a multi-sector economy. Henceforth, Prime Minister Mahatir Mohamed wants to achieve a goal of placing Malaysia under the high-income category based on high-tech industries and services while strengthening its value-added production chain.
The Prime Minister intends to develop his objectives by aiming at accelerating the economic growth of the country thanks to the various future economic projects.

Malaysia Food
Malay love to eat every 2 or 3 hours, their dishes are very rich in vegetables, fruits, starchy foods and especially in spices.
The main dishes are Nasi Goreng (fried rice with vegetables and chicken or beef), Nasi Lemak (mainly eaten at breakfast, this dish consists of rice cooked in coconut milk, served with peanuts, cucumbers, a hot sauce and an egg, it’s possible to add chicken or beef.) Satay (small meat skewer or kebab marinated in a sweet honey sauce dipped in a peanut sauce when grilled).

Finally, in drinks the Teh Tarik is the national one (sweetened condensed milk tea that is 'pulled' several times to air and so lighten).
You can find all these dishes in chic restaurants but most of the time people eat them in “street food” where the prices vary between 5 to 10 ringgit the equivalent of 1 or 2 euros.

Paradise holidays in Malaysia :
Malaysia is also famous for holidays due to the mix between modernity, jungles, islands and multi-religions, tropical climate but this deveopment could be partly a danger to the environment especially in north Borneo, rainforests suffer from illegal logging and pressure oil palm plantations.
