Chengdu, a city you never want to leave when you have ever
come.
Chengdu, a city you never want to leave when you have ever come.
Chengdu is livable since ancient times, honoured as “the Land
of Abundance”.
Today, most of people in Chengdu are immigrants who have
moved in since the end of the Ming dynasty. With their different dialects and
customs, they blend in this inclusive city and nourish each other with diverse
culture, interweaving a cheerful tone of the city, so as to live a real and lively
life of prosperity.
So Chengdu is the heaven, the world, the most suitable place
for enjoying life.

Eating
Chengdu is famous for its various kind of food.
People who have eaten Sichuan hotpot can sometimes get so
excited just by imaging ingredients
bubbling in chili oil with the sound that they want to roll up their sleeves
and grab a bowl.

But hotpot isn't just for Chengdu. In order to keep the
honor of "Gourmet City", Chengdu people still have many other
treasures: Maocai, cool cake, Ciba, Bobo’s Chicken, Chuan chuan....You can have
a different meal in the whole week.

Drinking
Chengdu also has many teahouses. According to Chengdu
Overview, in the late Qing dynasty, there were 516 streets in Chengdu and
454 teahouses, almost every street had teahouses. And "no matter which,
from sunrise to sunset, are full of friends, and no vacant land."

Chengdu teahouses are exotic: need not tall table bench, sit
upright, but put on low bamboo chair, let people lazily lean back in. The red
copper pot is shining and the bowl is unique. Even the waiter running to refill
the water make people feel comfortable.
The most important thing in a teahouse is to chat. Current
events, anecdotes, gossip, all can be put on display. With communication,
people know about each other. Later, no matter who need a hand, just say and
someone will come. The connection between people now is built because of the
tea.

There are no worries or arguments, and happiness naturally
takes root here.Everyone in Chengdu is a joker, so anything told by Chengdu
people must be the most interesting way to express it.
The life in Chengdu is slow, full of true and freedom.
